The Althorp Partnership of Primary Schools

Brington is a small village primary school with two classes from Reception to Year 6. Our school is set in the heart of the village of Brington but is easily accessible from Duston, Daventry, Long Buckby and surrounding villages. Our school has beautiful views across the Althorp Estate and large outdoor spaces to learn and play. Our setting creates a calm and inclusive environment to learn in only a couple of miles from larger busy towns and villages.

Our school is based in a beautiful Victorian building steeped in history. The grand hall is our centre piece and lends itself to community events, shows, visitors and as a

collective space to meet. Our classrooms are a calm place for learning with Reception, Years 1 and 2 enjoying a large outdoor learning space. The younger years also learn through a continuous provision approach whereby the teacher delivers lessons specific to each year group but the children also have the opportunity to choose their learning through carefully planned activities and adult intervention. Our KS2 class is run by very experienced staff who carefully plan the curriculum to include all learning outcomes across the year groups, with additional adults helping to deliver lessons in small groups, enabling individualised learning opportunities for all children.

We offer wrap around care 8-5pm daily alongside a wealth of afterschool clubs.
